Common questions

Why does the picture soften while I explore?

Automatic quality lowers the render resolution when the GPU is under load, when the phone gets warm, or when Low Power Mode is on, so the motion stays smooth. Turn it off in Settings › Picture if you would rather keep the detail.

Why does Ultra ask me to watch a video?

Ultra is the most expensive tier to render. The app has no subscription and no paid tier — a short rewarded video is what pays for it. If no video is available, Ultra turns on anyway.

The music will not play.

The soundtrack follows your device's silent switch. Check the switch on the side of the phone, then Settings › Sound in the app.

The camera stopped orbiting on its own.

Reduce Motion, in iOS Settings › Accessibility › Motion, turns off the automatic orbit and the tilt response. You can still explore by dragging and pinching.

How do I stop personalised ads?

iOS Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking, and turn the app off. In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland you can also reopen the consent form from Settings › Made with curiosity › Privacy & ad choices.
